POSITION:                Shipping & Receiving           COMPANY:  One Hour Heating, Ben Franklin

REPORTS TO:          Warehouse Operations Manager                        DIVISION:    Operations
 
CLASSIFICATION:  Hourly (Non-Exempt)               LOCATION: Ramsey, MN.                      
                                                                                     
 
 


JOB SUMMARY:
General duties are shipping and receiving materials and equipment from vendors to the company, and staging materials and equipment for jobs.  Adhere to company Core Values. Compensation for warehouse shipping and receiving is based on the company’s hourly pay. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. Overtime will be managed on a weekly basis, and periodically encouraged during peak times as needed to meet the demand of our staff.

Ø  Receive & Stock floor plan inventory daily
Ø  Receive & Stock HVAC equipment daily
Ø  Receive & Stock Service Parts daily
Ø  Pull & Stage installation inventory daily
Ø  Pull & Stage new construction equipment and materials daily.
Ø  Stock service parts inventory daily
Ø  Process warranty parts inventory daily/weekly
Ø  Process return parts daily/weekly
Ø  Package filters, media daily/weekly
Ø  Must be able to create PO’s
Ø  Safely and properly operate forklift to unload trucks and stock equipment in warehouse. 
Ø  Empty Trash and help maintain a clean warehouse
Ø  Periodically help stock, organize and clean trucks and vans
Ø  Empty cardboard and trash daily into the dumpsters
Ø  Must be able to send and receive emails on the computer
Ø  Communicate effectively with vendors
Ø  Must help us manage inventory controls as they relate to proper ordering processes, having an address or PO, properly locking down tools, etc. 
Ø  Understand and follows the parts ordering procedures in a timely manner.
Ø  Must help follow and enforce supporting the parts process by handing in parts receipts/packing slips and have corresponding job numbers written on them.
Ø  Must ensure we have PO’s tied to parts pick, collect packing slips from the suppliers when picking up materials from the supply house. This will help with job cost accuracy.
Ø  Assist in maintaining vehicle service as needed
Ø  Work directly with vendors to discuss pricing, procedures, concerns, etc.
Ø  Periodically run parts to technicians in the field
Ø  Must be able to lift 40-50lbgs regularly
Ø  Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely and properly
Ø  Conveys a safety-conscious attitude 
Ø  Each team member is a leader set the tone for the service department through your approach to your role
Ø  Obeys the Northern Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.
 
TECHNICIAN MUST WORK TO MEET OR EXCEED INDUSTRY BENCHMARKS BELOW:
Ø  Must maintain a pulling accurate on jobs of 98% or better. KPI
Ø  When delivering parts and equipment, must maintain 20 minutes or less on the job, unless approved to help on the job. 
Ø  * KPI = Key Performance Indicator
 
 
MINIMUM TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Ø  Must have clean driving record
Ø  Must have ability to lift 40-50lbs. 
Ø  Must be able to operate and learn our computer system for PO’s, etc.
Ø  Must have 1-2 years successful experience in warehouse position or have general labor experience.
Ø  Willing to invest in yourself for self-improvement in your craft.
Ø  Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
