Commercial HVAC Service Technician
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
- Service equipment including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, package units, split systems, pumps, hydronic systems, controls, and related commercial HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, airflow, and control-related problems
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment problems before they lead to breakdowns
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, schematics, and technical documentation
- Accurately determine equipment condition and recommend appropriate repairs or corrective actions
- Verify proper system operation after repairs and maintenance are completed
- Clearly communicate equipment condition, repair needs, and recommendations with customers and company personnel
- Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company and industry safety procedures at all times
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in professional condition
- Represent Simmons professionally at every customer location
- Participate in on-call or after-hours service rotation as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior successful experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment

Chiller and/or boiler experience strongly preferred
- EPA certification required
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions in the field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
- Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and professional
