- Primary Job Responsibilities Install HVAC Systems Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and accessories according to company and manufacturer standards.
- Perform Ductwork and Fabrication Design, fabricate, and install duct systems and fittings as required for each job.
- Execute System Start-Ups and Limited Diagnostics Start up new systems and perform basic diagnostics to ensure functionality.
- Maintain Clean Work Areas Use floor savers, drop cloths, and inspect the work area for cleanliness upon job completion.
- Complete Accurate Job Documentation Fill out installation forms detailing tasks performed and materials used for records and quality tracking.
- Communicate with Customers Address questions, concerns, and explain the installation process in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle Equipment and Vehicle Responsibilities Deliver and remove equipment, maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness, and ensure proper stocking and part returns.
- Train Apprentices Instruct apprentices on proper installation practices, tools usage, system testing, wiring, and IAQ product setup.
- Follow Safety and Brand Standards Wear approved uniform, follow safety policies, and adhere to One Hour’s standards of ethics and professionalism.
- Participate in Training Attend all company-sponsored training sessions to stay current on techniques, safety practices, and system updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
- NATE certification preferred
- Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
- Clean driving record
