What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and mini-splits.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
- Install HVAC systems and components when needed.
- Ensure all work complies with North Carolina building codes and regulations
- Pull permits and coordinate inspections when required
- Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices
- Represent the company professionally on every service call
- Provide customers with clear repair options and system recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Support team efficiency and help improve field operations
- 5+ years HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems (gas, electric, heat pump, mini-split)
- EPA 608 Universal Certification
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- NATE Certification
- North Carolina HVAC Contractor License (Class I or Class II)
- Experience working in the Triangle / Wake County market
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
- Interest in growing into Service Manager or Operations leadership roles
- $70,000 – $100,000+ annual earning potential
