- Supervise, train, and provide leadership to warehouse staff.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure that team members meet performance standards.
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
- Assist with ordering parts and equipment as needed.
- Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy using appropriate software systems.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and coordinate full physical inventory checks.
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that orders are prepared correctly, and quality control standards are met.
- Optimize order fulfillment processes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Enforce safety procedures and protocols within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular safety training for staff and maintain a safe working environment.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse facility.
- Ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
- Coordinate with maintenance and repair teams as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance warehouse operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Inspect goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Address any issues related to damaged or defective products.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the warehouse.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
- Generate reports to track key metrics and communicate performance to management.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment issues, delays, and order status.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations required.
- Experience is a trade industry greatly preferred.
- Experience using ServiceTitan a huge plus!
- Knowledge of safety regulations and excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills are a must.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
