HVAC Service Technician – Key Job Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance, tune‑ups, and system inspections
- Follow company standards, safety procedures, and industry best practices
- Maintain a clean work area, company vehicle, and tools
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally
- Respond to service calls in a timely, reliable manner
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and efficiency
- Service, maintain, repair, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose HVAC system issues and clearly explain repair options to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; leave job sites clean after completion
- Demonstrate a strong safety mindset on the job and while driving
- Use floor savers and protect customer property at all times
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness (inside and out)
- Represent the company professionally with customers and teammates
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior successful experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- NATE certification preferred (not required)
- Strong technical ability and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a drug/background check
