- Oversee the building and completion of installation job packets to include:
- Ensure complete and accurate forms in job folders.
- Accurate ordering of materials to complete each installation.
- Assign with the Manager installation crews to each installation job.
- Inventory management to include overseeing the tracking of all unused materials: returning what can be returned or reusing what can be reused on another job.
- Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by conducting monthly safety meetings, regular job site inspections, and regular truck inspections.
- Assist salespersons in evaluation of appropriate products and pricing for clients.
- Conduct job pre-inspections for ease of installation, materials cost control and safety of install team.
- Obtain necessary company certifications as required.
- Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
- Assist with training schedules for advancement of all departmental employees.
- Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
- Recruit and assist with interviews for potential department hires.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable HVAC residential, light commercial, and sheet metal experience.
- EPA certification required.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of operational functionality of residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
- Knowledge of the layout and installation requirements for residential and light commercial HVAC.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of current HVAC products to include thermostats and IAQ products.
- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
